These are lovely water goblets and a creamer made of beautiful blue glass. The design was an Avon exclusive to celebrate America's Declaration of Independence bicentennial in 1976. The water goblets feature either George or Martha Washington and the creamer has Washington's home Mount Vernon. The set is made out of heavy pressed blue glass by the Fostoria Glass Company and was available only through the Avon Company. The glass have a ridge design that starts at the top then goes into a diamond pattern, and the stem has a fluted design that ends in a 12 pointed star around the base. There is a cameo of either George or Martha Washington on each glass. The glasses are 8in tall with a 3 3/4in top diameter and a 3 3/8in bottom diameter. The creamer has the same design as the water goblets but has a cameo of Mount Vernon. The creamer is 5 1/2in wide from handle to tip of spout, 5 1/2in tall and the bottom diameter is 3 1/4in. Everything is in excellent condition.
