Vintage Sadler Teapot

Sadler Brown Betty Teapots Vintage Mid Century Sadler Ceramic Striped Teapot Made in STAFFORDSHIRE England James Sadler was founded in 1882 and became one of the leading manufacturer of teapots in the U.K. with a production of 10,000 teapots a week to fill orders in 100 countries around the world. The teapot listed for you here is from the Sadler Rockingham Brown or Brown Betty series. Fine quality red clay with a dark chocolate brown glaze made this pattern and design. Hallmarked bottoms on every teapot made were exceptional in identification of a genuine Sadler teapot and also the year it was made by the type of hallmark used at that time. This teapot was made around 1947 and is in excellent condition for the age, displaying the fine quality craftsmanship. The teapot is a 30 ounce capacity or approximately 4 cups and approximately 6 3/4intall and 6-7inwide. The pretty pastel blue and pink glazes are lovely additions for display. Perfect gift, with a favorite tea.
